This Social Media Challenge is your opportunity to connect with your customers, and ensure that they know all about you and your business. Over the course of the month, you’ll let them know how you work, what you like, who you love to work with, and why they should want to get flowers from you. Tomorrow we’ll be giving you a large list of Hashtags that might be appropriate for your posts. But for now, here’s some suggestions to get you mulling over what you’ll be posting.
Week 1 You and your business
1st January - What was your biggest success of 2019?
Usually at this time of Year we look forward, but we thought we’d start this challenge by looking back at the last year of the decade, and working out what was your biggest success of 2019.
2nd January - Who are you?
Your name and a (Good Quality) picture of you are the important things here. Most of the time we are the business, so our customers want to know about us, the people behind the business name.
3rd January - What is your business name and how did it come about?
Sometimes your business name “does what it says on the tin” and sometimes it has lots of meaning to you. This is your chance to explain to your customers how your name came about, and what it means to you.
4th January - A day in your life
I’m always asked if Flower farmers get the winter off. Here’s an opportunity to let your customers know what you are up to, in both your busy season and during the winter.
5th January - How did you get here?
I’ve been in horticulture all my career, but I’ve deviated through retail management, garden maintenance and design to be a flower farmer. How has your journey come to a flowery stage?
